 A fun attraction for the kids (from toddlers to great grandparents) is a miniature railway that runs from the main camping area to the trade day area over a mile-long track.   

WALES West operates two different size trains— narrow gauge (2' between the tracks), and grand scale (7.5" between tracks). Both are big enough for even a grown-up to ride. 

The Maricopa Live Steamers Railroad Heritage Preservation Society is a club for people who enjoy preserving the heritage of railroading. 

 The Arizona and Pacific Railroad is a project of John Sayre (with help from my brother David) located in Peoria, Arizona a rapidly growing suburb northwest of Phoenix. The current line consists of approximately 700 feet of mainline and over 1000 feet of sidetracks that travel among fruit trees and gardens and past our brick observation patios.

  The GADSDEN-PACIFIC TOY TRAIN OPERATING MUSEUM, LTD. (GPDTTOM) is a charitable, non-profit corporation dedicated to the advancement of model railroading by the collection and operation of toy and model trains and railroad memorabilia. The organization also serves to preserve prototype railroad history by sponsoring railroading related activities and events.  

A private 15" Inch Gauge Live Steam & Electric Railroad

The Balboa Park Miniature Train is operated by the San Diego Zoo. The train pulls out of the station for 3-minute rides around a portion of Balboa Park. The train station is located outside the Zoo’s exit. 

The Billy Jones Wildcat Railroad, Inc. is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization that was founded in 1968. Both the railroad and W.E. “Bill” Mason Carousel exist as a legacy of Billy Jones and as a means to preserve history and entertain the public. All proceeds and donations go to perpetuating the railroad and carousel, as well as maintaining our ability to provide historical and entertaining recreation for persons of all ages.  

The Bitter Creek Western Railroad (BCWRR) is a privately owned 7.5-inch gauge railroad operated for the benefit of children of all ages who enjoy playing trains.

The Carolwood Society is dedicated to preserving the personal railroad legacy of Walt Disney. 

We are a group of ordinary people interested in building, operating and maintaining trains. But "Live Steam" is more than just trains. 

Come enjoy a 15 minute tour of the farm on an exquisite half scale LIVE STEAM  narrow gauge railroad for only $4.00 per person, age 2 and up.  Also enjoy children’s play areas, trails & picnic areas. Snacks and drinks available, Hot food on weekends seasonally.  

THE HCVRR IS LOCATED IN SANGER, CALIFORNIA, JUST EAST OF FRESNO. AS OF DECEMBER 2001 WE HAVE 900 FEET OF TRACK ON THE GROUND INCLUDING A 100 FOOT SPUR INTO THE SHOP

Irvine Park Railroad is a 1/3 scale train that takes both children and adults on a ride through beautiful and historic Irvine Regional Park. Located in the foothills of Orange, Irvine Park Railroad is open seven days a week (weather permitting).  

The Joshua Tree and Southern Railroad Museum is a California Non-Profit 501(c)(3) Organization.  

The Los Angeles Live Steamers Railroad Museum (LALSRM) was founded in 1956. It was started by train enthusiasts for the purpose of educating people in railroad history and lore and also to further the avocation of live steam, gas-mechanical and electronic railroad technology.  

Welcome to OCME.   We are a non-profit 501(c) tax deductible organization that operates a 7 1/2" gauge railroad at Fairview Park in Costa Mesa, California.   Officially known as, Mackerel Flats and Goat Hill Junction Railroad, the club was founded in 1988 by a group of local railroad buffs.   Currently there is over 5 miles of actual track winding through the park. A variety of trains run on the track and represent 1 1/2", 2 1/2" and 3 1/2" scale equipment.

The South Coast Railroad Museum in Goleta, California, focuses on the history, technology, and adventure of railroading. Special emphasis is placed on the railroad’s contributions to local history, on the Southern Pacific Railroad, and on the key historical role of the railroad depot in rural community life across America.  

Southern California Live Steamers, Inc. operates as a 501(c)3 non-profit organization under IRS rules and is a registered California non-profit corporation. All of the income for the operation of SCLS is derived by donations from its members, passengers and corporate sponsors, and thru fundraisers.  

The 1/3 scale railroad is located on the beautiful 3200-acre Swanton Pacific Ranch near Davenport in Santa Cruz County.  A dedicated group of volunteers maintain and operate the railroad on behalf of the Cal Poly College of Agriculture, Food and Environmental Sciences.
